Elk Springs Outfitters
Idaho Hunting Guides
The
Elk Hunting Camp
Our goal at Elk Springs Outfitters is to offer
you an outstanding guided Idaho elk hunt and give
you a chance to experience this beautiful, rugged
wilderness of Idaho at its best. You’ll
horseback (pack) into our back country base camp
on gentle, trail-wise horses and mules.
Because the quality of your elk hunting experience
is important to us, we limit to 2 elk hunters,
with an exception sometimes being made for single
parties of up to 4. This smaller focus allows
us to give you the kind of attention, advice and
service you need for your Idaho wilderness adventure.
Elk Springs Outfitters and guides elk camp consists
of comfortable wall tents (12x14), heated by wood
stoves (we burn pine). Cots with foam pads for
comfort and you’ll enjoy hearty, home style,
satisfying meals served up by our camp cook. |

About
the Owner
Albert Bayer is originally from northeastern Washington
where he grew up hunting mule deer, whitetail's,
elk, and bear. At eighteen, he went to work in the
Wilderness of northwest Wyoming as a hunting guide
and packer. Before buying his own hunting outfit,
he also worked in the Caribou National Forest of
southeastern Idaho, and even returned to northeast
Washington as a professional guide. He spent two
seasons working in southeast Alaska along the Taiya
River as well. Albert has made his living working
in the remote woods of the West, where he feels
most comfortable. In the spring of 2001, Albert
had the opportunity to purchase an outfit in the
Frank Church Wilderness of west central Idaho. He
has been riding, packing, and hunting this area
ever since.
Professional guide Al Bayer and his licensed guides
are dedicated to offering you an outstanding wilderness
adventure where they can be proud of the service,
integrity, and experiences that come with each hunt
sold. Space is limited, so we recommend securing
your dates no later than March 1. For more information: |
